  1. If you don't like working or dealing with blood, then you might want to consider a different career. I say that only because working with animals is like working with people. And, if people are bloody, so are animals.

Try being a marine biologist, or something along those lines.

  2. My daughter is at Southern Illinois University in their zoology program She doesn't want to be a vet. She says she could never put an animal to "sleep."

  3. the best school i can think of is veterinary

  4. There are a lot of schools that have good programs for animal-related fields. If you are interested in zoology Michigan State University is excellent. Or if you rather work with domestic animals UC Davis has very good animal science programs.

No matter what type of animal related field you want to work in you will probably have to take at least a few classes that involve some 'queezy' factors (such as dissections) so be prepared for that.

You can get an idea of what schools are out there by using internet college search engines, such as http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/se...

these let you search for colleges by major, as well as many other factors (size, location...)

The best school for you will vary with what type of job you want, since there are so many different choices for working with animals.

Good luck and remember to keep your options open, you have plenty of time to get into specifics later.

  5. University of Alabama
