  1. Your local American Red Cross offers classes in both. The 'Y', local hospitals and fire departments, etc. offer human CPR, and many vets can teach you pet CPR.

  2. Is there a ywca or ymca in your town? They usually have the certification classes there.

  3. Lets see, you are in San Bernadino County, California, all medical personnel have to have CPR certificates as a means of renewing their respective state licenses, so I would begin at the local hospital, they should have a schedule of classes, CPR is changing practically as we speak, and you are wise to learn it well.  Ask if your training will include the use of an AED, an automated external defibrillator, these devices are everywhere, and they work!   Pet first aid i do not know, but try a community college for a first aid class, you will enjoy it, and most things you learn will apply to an animal.
