District of Melbourne Retirees Lawn Bowling Club. I love the funky atmosphere there, they even got a gramophone last week! Also the service is extremely fast! It was only one hour for the entree to be delivered. Also, there is a lot going on outside too.

Definitely Sofia's. It's a great little place (not literally, the one I usually hang out at is pretty big!) with lots of good italian food that you can order heaps of and everyone can share out. Plus they are pretty well known for hosting birthday parties!

Are you looking for a restaurant or like a club? And how many people are you thinking of? There's a place called Baroq House on 9-13 Drewery Lane that looks really cool. It's kinda got a 17th centure vibe- kinda like Interview With The Vampire.. Lol. They offer birthday packages and stuff.. It's basically drinks, photos, canapes and other stuff.. It's like a bar/club thing.

For a restaurant, there's a place called Minzaman on 292 Lygon Street which does really yummy Middle Eastern food. They have shisha too. On Friday nights and Saturday nights (I think), there's a belly dancer!

There's also a restaurant called Taxi in Federation Square that has really nice food. It's a really nice place and has a really pretty view.
