Where should i hunt?

hey i live in alaska and i would like to know where i can hunt for rabbits i would most likely use a pellet gun or maybe even a .22 single shot. i need some hints on what to do and where to look, also should i hunt in mountains or just like a little higher then sea level? also is there like some regulation that i need to follow on how many i am allowed to shoot and if i can shoot near houses, anyway please answer

When you go to buy your hunting license ask for a copy of the regulations,they should have a copy.
