  1. if you want the trendy looking shakers you can buy them at smith and hawken or other places like that. if you just want a standard boston shaker you can get them at any restaurant supply store.

  2. got a $3.99 clear plastic shaker set with some other stuff from Target on sale... not the best, but for $3.99 I wasn't going to argue, and its kinda nice seeing the stuff in the shaker with the ice.    It also came with some colored stirers, olive/garnish picks and some of those ice cube substitues that are plastic so they don't melt.

Yes, plastic absorbes smells and stuff, but for the small amount of time the stuff is in there, i don't think i care, and so what if some rum has a SMALL hint of vodka or gin?

  3. Any place that sells housewares.  I was in Wal-Mart last night (school supplies for the kid) and I saw two different styles in the same aisle as the plate sets.  I've even seen them in my local grocery store (Krogers) in the housewares section also.

Otherwise, a local liquor store should be selling them, and if you are not in a hurry you can order all kinds off the internet.

  4. If you have the time, look in E-Bay. They have some of the best shakers. You just have to keep looking. If you are in a hurry, just about any liquor store will carry them. You should start looking in the yellow pages first. Or if you have a Create and Barrow store or a High End Department Store will carry them also......
