Where should i put my surround sound speakers?

i know in the four corners but should i mount them up on the ceiling or set them on a table

try on the table and see what they sound like to you, My experience says to mount them on the ceiling or wall especially the surround speakers since they should be above the listener for the true surround. Check the manual and it will have positions

Without actually seeing the room and all it furnishings and knowing

what brand/model surround speakers you have,it's quite difficult to answer your question with the perfect answer,so you're going to have to "experiment" with their "placement" intill you achive the optimum listening enhancment you can get with what you have.

If you bought them new you should have a diagram showing you the placement.
