Where should i spend christmas in america?

im from the uk and would love to spend a really traditional christmas in america, snow, carol singers etc any suggestions

  4. Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine

    Woodstock, Vermont is a cute little town, and their Wassail Weekend in mid-December is great.  We went last year (stayed at the Lauren Inn - excellent place, great food), and absolutely loved it.  I don't know what they have going on closer to Christmas, though.

    Wolfeboro, New Hampshire would probably be good too: it's a cute little town, up towards the mountains.

    If you enjoy skiing, I would recommend Sunday River in Maine, particularly the Jordan Grand on the mountain, or one of the inns in the nearby town of Bethel.
