Where should i stay at at jersey city? preferably near transportation?

i would like to find a hotel that is affordable in jersey city, it'd also be good if it was near some sort of tranportation cuz we want to go to manhattan. i can find a decent hotel anywhere..so frustrated!!!

Staying in jersey city will save you some cash, plus it's less than 20min from NYC - good choice. I recommend staying in Newport, it's a very nice upcoming neighborhood.

I'd recommend the Courtyard, it's got decent reviews, and it's a walk to the Newport Path Station. (follow the link below)

Like most of the NYc area, nothing affordable is nice, or worth staying at.

There is a Hyatt right on the river and next to a path station. I thought it was very nice. When I stayed there the rate was much less then staying NYC itself. But that was 3 years ago..
