  1. DO NOT stay at the Renoir hotel it is a s**thole but check out this site


  2. If you have the cash, stay at one of the 5-star hotels in the Nob Hill area.  St. Regis, Mark Hopkins.  The Marriott south of Market is close to everything.  The Hyatt Regency across from the Ferry Building is wonderful and close.  There are B&B's also if that's your thing.  Try this website:

  5. I'm guessing you mean San Francisco.

    I've stayed in the Westin St. Francis and it was a really great hotel, and it is right on Union Square which is fantastic.  

  6. The Crown Plaza in SF is very nice and not as expensive as some of the posh hotels. It's located right at Union Square. From there you can get anywhere easily.
