for my business co op class i have to get a job and work somewhere around 20 hours a week after school. i have a job at a restaurant already and since i love it i decided that i will still work there on the weekends. I'm 17 years old, a high school senior, in ap classes and have a 4.1 cumulative GPA. I'm stuck on where i want to work during the week. the wells fargo job i wouldn't be a teller but i would work at the corporate office doing projects and business things- i would get paid $10 an hour. At the hospital, i would be making $8 an hour and i would also be doing business things but in a hospital enviornment (i have thought about being a pediatrian but i'm not sure at all yet).. the hospital job sounds like it would be more fun but the wells fargo pays more. what should i do??

im very organized and like being in a business setting but i don't want it to be too boring

  1. At a hospital, you won't get to do anything medically related, so it seems like it would be just the same as the Wells Fargo job, but the Wells Fargo pays more.

By the way, at the hospital if you're doing business work, most likely you'd be in an office setting too. Due to liability reasons, most hospitals would not allow you to interact with patients. Also nurses and doctors generally don't like people getting in their way.

    I would suggest Wells Fargo.

  2. If you want a business setting, Wells Fargo may give you that experience.  Then again, you can learn a lot from the hospital too.  In all honesty, I can see you getting bored at both.  It depends on what departments that you will work in.
