so there is no point going to North America, South America, Asia or Australasia as a week is not enough time to check these places out.

We are also not keen on places like Benidorm, Majorca, Costa del Sol, etc those kind of places.

We are looking for sun, sea, culture, lack of hassle [like Egypt!!]... any suggestions?

  1. crete

  2. How about Cyprus, Greece or Turkey

  3. Each others arms !!!

  4. A Greek island would be nice at that time of year - warm but not boiling ....sun, sea, some culture and not too much hassle if you get somewhre that does direct flights. Alternatively, N. Cyprus is great.

  5. Try the south west of Ireland - you will definitely get sea, culture and no hassle, and if you are lucky you might get sun too! If you come to Kerry you will get the greatest scenery in the world, great museums, pubs, friendly people, some fabulous drives, golf, fishing, theatre, music, wildlife, at least three of the most beautiful beaches anywhere and anything else you are likely to want on a holiday - plus you won't have to suffer Spanish tummy, locals who pretend not to understand you, cockroaches, pickpockets, timeshare salespeople or half built apartments. Dingle, Killarney, Tralee, Ring of Kerry etc. - it's all here. Look forward to seeing you!

  6. Oh if its the sun ur lukin for theres no point suggesting Aberdeen so, i taught it was beautiful and upnorth coast so remote!! lotsa drift wood if ur into that!! we got good weather april last year sunny and warm for west coast scotland.
