Where should my skag be located on my longboard?

I was just seeing where my skag fin should be located on my 10'0" longboard. How many inches from the tail. I like to do bottom turns and turn sharp and such. Help me out please.

to make bottom turns sharper you would wanna put it in the front of the fin box, because the if it is in the front you get more manuverability and in the back is more for noseriding or smaller days

If you are looking for improved maneuverability versus better stability put the fin all the way forward in the fin box.  All the way back is better for making your board stable for nose riding.
