Where should we eat at Disney's California Adventure and/or Downtown Disney?

I've been to Disneyland many times. Last Saturday they offered me a 2fer ticket to come back to Disney's California Adventure within 30 days for free. I don't know that park and online research isn't really helping for food options. Should we come early and eat breakfast in Downtown Disney somewhere? Or is there breakfast in the park? Where is best for lunch in the park? Where is best for either dinner in the park or dinner in Downtown disney? Just a mom and a p*****n so we don't need character dining or anything.

  1. When at Disneyland, I just gotta go to IHOP across the street at least one breakfast. But to your question: since CalAdvent opens later, your options there are much more limited. Even at Disneyland, they only have pastries and such.  If your stuck on a Disney breakfast, try the D-Land Hotel.

  2. Inside California Adventure I would NOT recommend the winery, I went there expecting it be a nice restaurant inside Disneyland but there food was horrible !

  3. my husband and i get the 2fer ticket every year! it's awesome..soo worth it cuz cal Adventures isn't worth the $60, since they've closed off an area to add another ride (Toy Story..wink wink, which will open in the late summer i believe)  anyway food wise, it depends on what quality you're looking for...if u want mediocre..Rainforest in Dtn Disney and Storytellers inside Grand California hotel is where you want to be!   La Brea Bakery is limited on selection.  Inside Cal Adventure there's the Boudin SF place which i highly recommend (fresh baked bread with Soup offered in bread bowls!)  The Mexican place is..ok, but there's always better! If you want to get away from the park after your half day spent at Cal  Adventure (it doesn't take long to finish the WHOLE PARK) you can head over to Katella and Harbor to eat at PF Changs, Bubba Gumps, Cheesecake Fact., or McCormick and Schmicks.

    I hope that helps.  Enjoy!

  4. im not sure about disneyland because i haven't been there in a while. but at Downtown Disney there's a restaurant called Rainforest Cafe and they sell all types of really good food and it's not very expensive... Their plates are about 8 bucks each!

    hope i helped! :)

  5. A great place is inside Disneyland is the Blue Byou. They have the best Monte Cristo sandwiches. If you really like corn dogs there is a stand that makes them fresh and the are the best corn dogs I have ever tasted. In Downtown Disney there is the Jazz Kitchen that is really good. For breakfest the La Brea bakery is really good and if you have kids then you should go to Goofys Kitchen.

  6. taco bell

  7. Downtown Disney, i ate there and got this really big plate of food(with dessert) and all it cost was 10 bucks

  8. Storyteller's Cafe is awesome. Great food and service. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
