  1. here is a list of nice restaurants in Arlington with user reviews and you can even plug in your address to find out how to get there.  hope this helps!

  2. Check into the Orleans House.  If you can venture just inside Washington DC, go to Market Inn.  Totally worth the trip.

  3. Galileo da Roberto Donna is a four star restraunt, and its only 11 minutes away from the ball room

  4. this is a yummy and expensive french place http://www.2941.com/

also try the double tree revolving restaurant

  5. Cheesecake factory; have a huge menu to choose from; it's not upscale but it's moderate classy; so you may feel a bit uncomfortable with prom attire; no matter where you dine... there aren't too many places that are in your price range where people wear prom attire; Cheesecake factory; will definently make you feel welcome.

  6. Go to:

    red lobster

    great american buffee

    bennigins

    etc

  7. Sawatdee (near the movie theaters) - the best Thai in Arlington.  If you take the Metro is this very convenient.

Also, there's an Asian restaurant near Crate and Barrel.  I can't remember the name of it but it's on the second level.

  8. the cheesecake factory in Va.? maybe u can go early or something (your attire) so you can get back home to change or would that be too much?
