Where should we go on a vacation in september?

My partner and I have our 5 year anniversary coming up the first week of September. We originally wanted to go S. America but apparently that's hurricane season in some places and just straight out wet or winter season in others. We've considered various places in Europe but it's SO expensive.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cheaper places in europe, nice weather places in S. America, or anywhere else that isn't horribly expensive to fly to (from California)?

Try Asia, cheap in everything, Thiland or Bali

I went to Bali last newyear with my gf, we had amazing fun there.

I'd say go for Asia. September weather in southeast asia is not so harsh. not too rainy, not too hot. Try visiting travel websites like this one: socialtravellersite (dotcom) There are articles that might give you some tips.
