We are a small real estate company in Downey, CA and we need ideas and suggestions on where to have our company party?

Last year we had the Magic Castle in hollywood.

This year we are considering renting a room/small hall at a country club, or the murder mystery dinner show in newport beach or the orange county mining company.

any cool ideas or locations on a place where possibly dancing, christmas decorations

please email me

thanks

  1. Luminarias! its a really nice place up in the hills, its in Monterey park, just google "luminarias". Or you can have it at a hotel downtown, like The Omni, or Raddisson.

  2. playboy mansion

  3. Murder Mystery dinners are always fun ...  Hornblower has dinner cruises out of Newport.  Maybe you can do it during the boat parade  ...  Mr. Stox in Anaheim is my all-time favorite restaurant.  It's VERY upscale and known for their extensive wine cellar.  They'd probably do a wine-tasting for you;  or a short wine class.  Check out their website for all the things they do.  In fact, we've gone to Participation Dinners there (limited to about 25 people), where you divide into groups, with a chef, and each prepare one course.  It's served to you in a separate room, with the accompanying wines and is SO much fun!  You can read about those on the website, and they might even schedule a night for your own private one.......

  4. A company I used to work for had our Xmas party one year at a restaurant called Moun of Tunis, which features Moroccan and Tunisian atmosphere and food.  Both were excellent and the belly dancers were delightfully entertaining. We also spotted Perry Farrell (from Jane's Addiction) a few tables over, and I don't believe star sighting will be rare at this place.

Then there's always the Universal City Walk - many restaurants to choose from there, as well as entertainment choices from live music and shows to bowling to one of those moving-seat cinema rides.

But your own idea on the murder mystery dinner sounds like loads of fun too, and I understand they are audience interactive.

But my vote would still be Moun of Tunis. They will give you a private room/party and the food and entertainment is excellent.
