Family of 7 here from Utah. Famous for 3rd lowest paid state 9th most expensive place to live 4th worst air quality & worst schools 8th yr running. We want a better quality of life. Bigger more affordable home, better paying jobs, cleaner air less religion, better schools. But we still want mountains & 4 seasons. Denver & Seattle is worse overall cost of living. Any suggestions? He is a forklift driver & network technician I work in hospitality management. I love this site. Any help would be great Thank You!

  1. new york state

  2. before you mentioned 4 seasons, I would have recommended San Antonio (they don't have mountains but they have really big hills--also hill country is wine country--think Sonoma Valley but more humid.)

Mountains, 4 seasons, affordable homes, growing job market, decent schools.

    how about:

    Colorado Springs, CO

    Chattanoga or Knoxville, TN

    Charlotte, NC

    Salem, OR

    Lexington, KY

    Boise City, ID

    Greenville, SC

    Spokane or Tacoma, WA

since you're in the hospitality business--check out NC and TN  cities in and near the mountains.  Lots of tourists and lots of hotels in that area.

  3. Hayden Lake Idaho

  4. OHIO.... THATS IT BEST PAYING JOBS FOR NURSES ,BEST JOBS AND 4 SEASONS AND WONDERFUL HOMES HERE SOUTHER OHIO HAS LOTS OF ROLLING HILLS AND LABOR JOBS FOR YOUR OLD MAN OR YOUNG  LOLS

.. AND WE LOVE TO HAVE YOU ,THE HEART OF IT ALL OHIO!

PS... WE LIKE KIDS   GOOD EDUCATION  CHECK US OUT

  5. Try Canada.

If you belong the LDS church, you might try southern Alberta.

  6. Try Texas, it is one of the fastest growing states in the United States in both population and economy.

  7. I was going to say Houston until you go to the mountains and 4 seasons.  Austin doesn't have mountains but it is "hill country".  These cities both have fairly low cost of living.  Have you looked into any cities in Arizona... I'm not really sure.
