snakes aren't hard to deal with. Their defensive behavious are fairly predictable when they are dealing with things bigger than they can swallow.

Ain't true of humans, though.

But this is still a myth, mostly. Cobras are actually revered in India (because they eat lots of rats), but the people that s***w with them for money are a tiny minority.
