re-trace your steps, i always end up finding the remote in the kitchen, laundry, bathroom, i seem to carry it with me and get distracted then put it down.

it fell down into the couch or chair. My chair always "eats" my remote. I have to go digging for it on a daily basis.

i always find it in the kitchen....i walk into the kitchen, and set the remote down randomly, and then get a snack...then lose the remote!
