  1. you mean Prophet Mohammad (AS)?

ummm theres a prophecy about him, thats what I know:

    Deuteronomy 18:18

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (Moses), and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."

The Christians claim that it was Jesus who was like Moses, but there are more similarities between Mohammad and Moses than Jesus and Moses.

Read Part one of Ahmad Deedat's book The Choice Vol. I. Here it is online w/ proofs and explanations.

  2. Yes. Torah=Old Testament and Gospel=New Testament. Torah+Gospel=The Holy Bible.

Muhommad may be mentioned in the Gospel.

1 John 2:22  Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

Other than that though, he's not mentioned.

  3. Well, I guess that you should ask a Hindu about the first part of your question due to the fact that they know their religion better than either you or I. Also, I imagine that they will tell you that you're wrong as I am about to do from a Christian standpoint.

First of all, the Torah and the OT are one and the same. Anyway, Muslims say that Deuteronomy 18:18 speaks of Muhommad, but this is a case of picking and choosing to obtain what you want. You must at least include the rest, right? So, it reads:

Deu 18:13  You shall be blameless before the LORD your God,

Deu 18:14  for these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to fortune-tellers and to diviners. But as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do this.

Deu 18:15  "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers--it is to him you shall listen--

Deu 18:16  just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.'

Deu 18:17  And the LORD said to me, 'They are right in what they have spoken.

Deu 18:18  I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

So, God is not speaking of Muhommad nor anyone else in particular...he is merely saying that the Jews are not to listen to fortune-tellers or diviners, etc. and that if he ever needs to tell them anything that he will raise a prophet up from among them, make them believe in him and tell him what to say. He doesn't want them seeking revelations and using fortune-tellers or oracles thinking they are hearing from him. Muslims just pick out the single verse 18:18 and leave the rest...but, of course, you can't do that. In simple English he is saying "Don't turn to fortune-tellers or diviners...if I ever want to tell you something I will raise up a prophet FROM AMONG YOU and tell him what to say so that you don't have to see me as you did at Mount Hareb when you were terrified in my presence". That's all. Muslims also believe that the "comfortor" mentioned once in the Bible speaks of Muhommad even though 2 verses later it says that the "comfortor" IS the Holy Ghost (exact words) and Muslims disregard all the other times that the "comfortor" is mentioned. So, once again, Muslims pick and choose one verse that they like. So, in summary...Muhommad is not mentioned (in any good way) in the Bible at all. Read for yourself. I mean, most Muslims have almost no first-hand knowledge of the Bible that they attempt to criticize...they cut and paste from Islamic websites and post links, but they just don't take the time to go find out for themselves (unlike many Christians like me who study other religions such as Islam very thoroughly before forming an opinion). Not to be rude, but take you for instance...you apparently didn't know that the Torah IS the Bible along with the Gospel aka New testament (the Bible is both books under one cover). As far as changing our Bible...there are at least 6 different actual versions of the Quran in circulation (Rodwell's version, Dawood's version, Pickthall's version, Arberry's version, Shakir's version and Ali's version) and they are each vastly different unlike the Bible which is the same in every translation. Muslims tend to say that different language translations of the Bible are different "versions" while pretending that the English translation (that they all use a different actual version of...see above) wouldn't have to be a different "version" of the Quran too if that were so. Next, they go to the old "Quran must be read in Arabic" argument...well, how stupid do they think God is if he can't write a book for everyone? Seriously, why would God send a book to correct all of mankind which could only be understood by Arabs? There are many Muslims who believe things such as that the Bible is changed because the Catholic Bible contains something called the apocrypha even though this is in addition to the exact same books of the Bible already mentioned and I have even encountered Muslims who believe that the New Testament is called that because it is a new version of the Old Testament! hahaha

Have a great day and God bless you.

  4. Taking into consideration that the prophet was born 570 years *after* Jesus, there's not reason for him to be mentioned in the New Testament.

  5. sh i t on those people who edit and write  their holy book and said that this is GOD word

  6. Here is a detailed booklet that cites and explains every single time the Prophet (sa) is mentioned in the Torah as well as the New Testament.

love for all, hatred for none

  7. He's not in the Bible or the Torah.  If you've found your "prophet" in the Hindi books anywhere, then I'm afraid that it's actually the Muslims who are good at "changing their books to gain followers."
