  1. In Hobart sometimes

  2. The only snowfields on the mainland with snow suitable for skiing are in the high Alps in Southern New South Wales and North Eastern Victoria. Some snow falls on smaller mountains further south in Victoria but is unpredictable.

In Tasmania, Mount Wellington near Hobart has sporadic snow in colder months and Ben Lomond in the northeast has skiing in winter months.

Very occasionally, snow falls in the Granite Belt in Southern Queensland but usually only lasts a few hours before melting.
