Where to Breakfast reception cheap in Sydney?

Question

Hello, my fiancee and I are trying to find a place to have a cheap breakfast reception and wedding in Sydney.

We were wondering if anyone knew of any Breakfast Receptions under $30 in Sydney and a bonus would be on water as we would love to be married near water at sunrise.

With or without water could some one please help us out???

Try 'blackbird cafe' on cockle bay wharf in Sydney. It overlooks the water and is open for breakfast - depending how many people you have, you could take the balcony - just ring them and see if they could arrange it for you.

Alternatively there is a great park near taronga zoo, i'm not sure if you'd have to pay to hire it considering its breakfast - but you could then get a caterer to do breakfast - that would definitely be under $30 per head - try grinners catering...

I'm assuming you mean $30 per person, not $30 for the whole reception... LOL

I've been to a fantastic reception at Yots cafe at the Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour- they set up a marquee and they are right at the water. Or check out the cafes at the Waterfront in Pirrama Road, Pyrmont. I'm sure they could tailor a menu for your budget.

You won't get a breakfast reception for under $30.00 in Sydney especially on the water.

You could get a restaurant but $30 a head will only get you a plate of bacon, eggs & toast plus a drink. Go to www.yourrestaurants.com.au & you can search on all restaurants that are open for breakfast. You might find they might ask you to have it on a Saturday as Sunday is a brunch day so most get very busy.

Maybe try a few hotels in the city as that have buffet breakfasts (if that's your cup of tea, on pun intended).
