Where to Recycle lots of old Textbooks in Canada?

I have about 8-10 boxes of textbooks in my garage and would like them to be recycled. I have tried donating them to charities, craigslist, freecycle and have placed some of the softcovers out with the weekly recycling but at that rate it will take forever.

Does anybody know of a place I could drop all of them off to be properly recycled? I live in BC.

You can try recycling them with the newspaper or selling them on eBay. They sell for very little though.
