Where to Staple the pages...

It bugs me every time I have to do it...

Where do you put the staple when you have to staple portrait and landscape documents together? And how do you arrange them? (Portrait facing right-side up, landscape facing left or right?)

Everytime I sent a report or project I would normally put it in the left corner since this was the way i saw my teachers and parents staple paper.
