I am in Zone 5. None of the garden centers around me sell them, but I've read that they can grow in Zones 3-10. Is there a place online I can buy Blue Perennial Cornflower seeds?

  1. You can buy the seeds here:

    The plant is sold here:

    http://www.soonerplantfarm.com/index.cfm...

At this time of the year garden centers may be sold out. Some centers can order them if they know you're interested in buying them...but they'll usually order seeds to stock at the beginning of the growing season.

Centaurea montana  is what to look for:

Thought you'd like to read what others say about growing this plant:

I find that many garden centers carry the plant for a reasonable price...they're cheaper if you buy smaller starter plants. When you consider the cost of shipping & handling, it may come out the same cost as buying the seeds (maybe even cheaper).  Once you have a plant...Centaurea montana  will produce plenty of seeds.

Good luck!!  Hope this is helpful.
