  1. Let me tell you from experience that cheap little $10 Chinese hookahs, buy the end of the year you will have bought several of them to get a quality hookah.

Look at a Small Mya Hookah for size and quality, even the small ones hit like a 40" tall Kahlil Mamoon Hookah.

The Mya QT, I have had for 4 years and never a single problem. Wonderful little hookah

The Mya Bambino, I have had for a year and it just looks and smokes great. Amazing little Hookah

If you can find them locally great, but if you order them online you get all the freebies like a case, tobacco, brushes, filters, tongs, coals and more all thrown in for free!

  2. Try ebay or better yet is {{ craigslist + your town }} the site will ask what area your close to but i would try all the areas your will to drive to it may take a few weeks also make sure to look in the free and barter section unlike ebay you can place an add on craigslist for free stating what your looking for and people selling one can contact best of luck and happy hunting

  3. there's a store in the haight-ashbury neighborhood called "ashbury tobacco center" that may sell hookahs. address is 1521 haight street.

i'm quite sure that you have to be at least 18 since you would need to purchase tobacco in order to use it. they are about $50 and up.

they are hard to use in the sense that there's more steps required than lighting a cigarette. i've never smoked one, so i don't know the specific steps but i know you will need water, charcoal, and possibly tin foil.
