Where to buy a fancy formal dress in vancouver?

I'm going to start looking now for the perfect dress for a huge event I'm going to in September. I need a very classy dress, though I can't go crazy with money. Any ideas of where to look? Something nicer than Le Chateau (I've looked there and it's just too crappy for what I'm looking for) but not as expensive as the stuff in Escada or Leone, for example. Any ideas of stores? Thanks!

go to New Westminster- the main street has 10 or more wedding dress stores, i went there looking for a dress for my prom. you can find some GORGEOUS bridesmaid /  prom dresses, pretty reasonable prices too!

theres a store in richmond centre called Yofi, gorgeous dresses but very expensive.

other than that, i would try BCBG by MaxMara on Robson or in Pacific Centre- its designer couture, between $200-400. GORGEOUS dresses too!

At Oakridge mall in Vancouver there is a dress shop called After 5......they have really nice formal dresses they tend to be more expensive than Le Chateau.....they range from $80-$600 or so !!! =D They also have lots of designer dresses too lots of girls get their prom/grad dresses there =D
