  1. Check here:

    You can find it.

    Good luck!

  2. We have friends that have 2 and 6 horses.  They do roam together except when foaling.  They are really a pet and they have a teensy cart but only their child under 10 can ride in it.  Mostly they just let them into the yard and pet them..

On finding one, it would be easier to answer if you said where you lived.  There are a lot of them in Colorado and we see ads for them all the time.   The prices have dropped radically in the past 6-7 yrs.

I would look on line and see about rescues too.  If you find one or the national registry they probably have a list of breeders to see if any are in your area??  My best suggestion.  Good luck!

  3. there is a mini farm off 70 between dayton ohio and richmond indiana, but i forgot the name.

i have seen them with bigger horses.  depends on the individual.  the small one bullied the bigger ones.

  4. my miniature yearling runs with my 16 year old quarter horse and they do fine together. being young and all, she knows her limits. in fact they are so close now that they both whinny when one or the other is gone. i think that they understand that they are smaller and dont stand a chance. i think that you getting a miniature horse and letting it roam with larger horses depends on the temperment on your horses. for example, if they are stubborn and like to be in TOTAL control, you might want to seperate the mini because it could get hurt. hope i helped!
