Where to buy bellybutton rings?

i just got my bellybutton pierced this summer and i want to chang it. But i don't know where to find good jewelry that wont get my belly infected.

If you were pierced this summer changing the jewelry too soon will leave you open to infection no matter what material you buy (surgical stainless steel, titanium, glass, etc). Because you're still healing I would really advise against changing your jewelry at all unless it's too long/short or creating other problems.

I'm assuming you'd like something pretty, sparkly, dangly, etc. If so the vast majority, if not all of what you will find is low quality and not appropriate for healing.

Like the first article says, it's not guaranteed that what happened above will happen to everyone but it's better to be safe than sorry by minimizing as many risks as possible.

You should return to your piercer and see what he/she can do. A lot of the time they have a selection of loose balls that are from the same manufacturer, if not you can buy something else.

Going back to your piercer or other reputable shop will give you the peace of mind that you're jewelry was 1. autoclaved (sterile), 2. implant grade and 3. changed under the cleanest circumstances possible, thus greatly reducing your chance for infection or something worse.

Hot topic, Claire's, Macy's (rarely), tattoo shops. Those are probably the best places to get them in a mall or nearby.
