Where to buy best air ticket deal to New York!?

Have anyone done a research to get the best deal for air ticket to New York. I went to Zuji.com, malaysia air, singapore air, even china air and they all are absurd. It was 3 times more than what i paid a year ago? Am i missing anything here? Thanks.

  2. The really why you are going to pay more is because of high oil prices and I would try to go to gorillaair.com.  Or try going to the commercial airline(united.com or aa.com) website they are alot cheaper than  priceline, orbitz or expedia.
