Where to buy chocolates from?

my friend is flying to San Francisco n will be staying in Sunnyvale for 10 days. he would get chocolates for me "heeeeee" :-)

can someone please tell me an exact place to buy 'moderately priced' dark chocolates from around the place of his stay or close to San Francisco airport. he can buy 2 kg of chocolates.

See's candies are in CA or at Macy's they use to sell Neuhaus from Belgium which are the best in the world I think. See's are even at the airport I think.

If he likes chocolate truffles, I suggest checking out Joseph Schmidt Confections (http://www.artisanconfection.com/stores/...  They have a retail location in Santana Row next to Borders Book Store.

I think you can buy See's right at the SFO airport. They offer assorted dark chocolates.

Ghirardelli!!! If he has time to get to Ghiradelli square, THAT is the BEST place to get fantastic chocolate of any kind!!!!!  I went to San Fransisco in December and I have had Ghirardelli chocolates before, but it's a totally different taste to get it fresh!

I'll second the recommendation for Sees Candy.  They are better quality chocolates at a very reasonable price, and they do indeed have shops right inside the airport at SFO.  They also have their factory with a gift shop very close to the airport.  They make delicious dark chocolates.
