Well I know the post offices sell stamps but since I don't live near any of them. I'm planning on buying stamps from different places.

Any brilliant ideas?

  1. well if you go the usps.com website\

then chose  find a post office then website will then give you

some choices (one is called alternate locations to buy stamps)

    chose that location

then it will ask you for the zip code (or a city and state)

I choice Richmond (since the asker didn't say what city they were in)

so the locators tells CVS, and Kroger and walgreens and food lion sell the stamps

and note they have to sell that at the same price from the post office

also did you know you also order them online (or even

from the post office, (next time you are at the post office

ask postal clerk for stamps by mail order blank/form

  2. Most supermarkets (and some smaller grocery stores as well) sell stamps.

  3. uhh no but i live in virginia so i just felt like anwsering this. maybe a CVS or something?

  4. how about your local supermarket.

every month we do from ours.

  5. You can mail an envelope addressed to

POSTMASTER with ZIP code that is same as your home ZIP code.  You do not need to put any postage on this envelope.

In the envelope you include a note to the Postmaster saying you need to buy stamps in what denominations and quantities, and you include enough money (preferably a check payable to Postmaster) to pay for this.  In a few days, your mail man will deliver what you ordered.

You can ask for "Stamps by Mail" order form (it is business reply mail, so you need not put any stamps on it)

This comes with various popular denominations precalculated

e.g. booklet with 20 stamps 41 cents each, that comes to $ 8.20

You can also get envelopes which have your return name & address pre-printed on them, and also have first class postage pre-printed on the envelopes

You can also do this at www.usps.com

    You can call 1-800-STAMP24 (1-800-782-5724)

Thousands of grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, office supply stores, and some ATMs have a symbol "Buy Stamps Here" where guess what ... you can buy stamps there.
