  1. Ok depending on what orinialy came in your cuda you can do either. If yours came with a 273, 318, 340, or a 360 I would say go with a chrysler 408 stroker that is for sale by BluePrint at www.summitracing.com, its a little under $4000 with everything and is a very good motor. If yours came withthe 225 slant six, there are major changes that must be done to even handle the power of even a 318 V8 including K-member modifications, transmission, rear end, and suspension. If yours came with a 361, 383, 400, 413, 417, 426 Wedge, 426 Hemi, ot 440 you can interchange these fairly simply with just swap mounts. 383's are some of the cheapest big-blocks you can still find and build up for 400hp fairly easily. If you are seruoisly considering this, shoot me an email and we'll talk about your options.

  2. jegs performance builds a really nice 360 crate engine that runs a 365 horse power, and that's their mild version of it,they build a real good engine ready to bolt right in with no problems and it comes with a performance guarantee on it i,ll give you their site, their the cheapest i have found for a good crate engine, especially on a mopar.keep that cuda alive look at the edel brock version of the crate engine they are awesome.,good luck.http://www.jegs.com/
