My boyfriend is in need of a new wakeboard he has been on the same one for years and i think the one he has came from a garage sale or something like that. I would like to but him a whole new package for his birthday. I live in the south suburbs of chicago or if anyone knows anywhere online that has decent prices. Also i know i have seen hyperlite and a couple other boards on a lot of site which boards are the best without coasting a million dollars?

  1. best chance is call or go to your local shop see if they have demo boards.  They can help you get the right board picked out that will fit him you need to know his shoe size and weight.  For package you can expect to pay 299 or less for a beginer package.  if you need help let me know.

  2. www.boardersmall.com is a decent place to buy from they have a good selection and good pricing.  All of the major brands (CWB, Liquid Force, Gator Boards, Hyperlite, Ronix, and Obrien) are equal in quality and performance.  So you shouldn't have to worry about getting a certain brand.

  3. www.buywake.com is good, and they sell wakeboards from older years for less price. Hyperlites are the best and cost the most ($700-$800). You can get liquid forces for about 200 or 300 dollars at ***** Sporting Goods. I would try to go to buywake and see if they have any 02s or 03s for around 100. Try buying the board and bindings seperate at buywake because you can get a better deal since they will have older stuff.
