Where to buy woven woll fabirc?

I am looking for some pure white woven wool fabric, in a really heavy weight from around Edinburgh.

I have been searching everywhere for this, and cannot find white for less than about £30 a meter (other colours are around £10-£12). Any suggestions?

John Lewis - they have a whole section of knitting stuff including wool. Good luck!!!

ah, baby!! would be nice if there were more pure white sheep available to clip for the fabrics. I am not sure about purchasing this around Edinburgh as I am in the southwest USA. I get my wool fabrics on line from fashionfabricclub.com   I cannot recall if they have the white wool or not at this moment. Their prices are very good and their service is exemplary.

You might try calling some of the weaveries to see if they have the white available?
