Hello am i better of getting my euros in Spain.

  1. no, you will be charged the earth, go to any bank or post office, even if you go to a cash point in spain with your debit card, they charge you


  2. It's "buy", not "bye" and "off" not "of".

  3. Yes - post office is good, but Marks And Spencer is very good too for excange rates. Check both before you choose. Don't go to travel agents-they will rip you off.

    www.travelex.co.uk, where you can get a better rate of exchange online, but still go and collect your currency from the nearest Travelex outlet.

    Or, check with your nearest Co-op Supermarket, who are offereing packages of 100, and 50 euros.....and they were offering quite a good rate.

    Having said that, you do often find that once you are abroad, you can get a slightly better rate from some of the little exchange kiosks ( don't change your money at banks or hotels....they charge a lot of commission!)
