Where to celebrate 18th/21st birthday on Long Island/NYC?

My sister and I share a birthday, and we will be turning 18 and 21 at the end of May this year. We wanted to do something with a couple close friends either on Long Island or in NYC. We're not into the club scene or drinking or anything like that lol. But we still wanted to do something fun and unique to celebrate these big birthdays. Any suggestions?
