Where to donate clothes for the homeless in lv nv? (not goodwill or salvation army, they sell it)?

There's Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada... also, you may want to try various churches who do clothing donations and drop offs.  I think Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada does the clothing thing too, along with Opportunity Village.

No one wants your used clothing.  All organizations sell them if only for pennies.

The veterns! You can call them, usually they will come to you to collect your donations.

If you don't find someone who wants your stuff, consider donating it to the charities who sell it. Why? Because you'll be blessing the people who shop at the store.

Working people are trying to stretch their paycheck across the rising price of food and gas. If they can buy a great outfit at the thrift store for $5 or $10, something they would *never* be able to afford at the department stores, even on clearance, how is that a bad thing?

Students or young adults trying to furnish their first apartment shop at thrift stores to buy dishes and household goods. They just don't have a lot of money starting out, but now they are able to eat off real plates with flatware & cups instead of paper and plastic. This is ecologically sound, a blessing to those who need the items, and the store did you a favor by taking it off your hands & giving you a tax receipt, too.

Everyone wins. :-)

i find an abuse shelter for women ever time i have something. Even if it toys because those women leave with nothing. They really need work clothes because its hard for them to get employed if they have nothing to wear. I'm on the large size so my stuff was extremely useful. But please think of these women as they really do need a fresh start...
