Where to download more ram in computer?

is there any websites to download free RAM (memory) for your computer. if there is tell me pleaase. my dads going to ground me. if my laptop loses memory. i am not looking for any wesites with paying for ram but free RAM.

RAM is a physical piece of hardware. Memory lose is do to a number of things. Vista 32 has an issue with a memory leak. But where does your dad get off grounding you for hardware malfunctions?

You have to BUY ram, not on the internet, a STORE, and besides, to get your ram back just turn off the computer, unless you need a new laptop, but you can't add things to a laptop, so you can't download ram!

even though computers rely heavily on the programmer's and the user's imagination, you can't pirate ram. it's an actual chip that you can pull out of the machine and toss around like a frisbee

You cant download ram from the internet. You have to buy it from a store and install it on your motherboard. Unless you have Windows 95 with 56 Megs of ram, there is no way to "lose" your memory. Maybe he is talking about the hard drive that stores all the information on the computer. Downloading stuff and installing programs or games uses up your hard drive. It can always be deleted too after. I see no reason your dad would ground you.
