  1. Here are some suggestions for you:

    - Takare Bune (in Scarborough at Victoria Park & Sheppard Ave. E.) - really amazing sushi...and a great ambience. Very reasonably priced.

    - The Queen's Head (restaurant pub with great international dishes...classic English food, Indian, Italian). Reasonably priced, and great wooden booths with TVs in them! (in Scarborough at Victoria Park & Sheppard Ave. E.)

    - Zelda's (Rowdy Zelda’s is a perfectly positioned Church Street fixture. The margaritas and sangria are free flowing and available by the pitcher, as are the Zeldatinis. Zelda herself and the other servers dress in drag and the patio’s always packed with sun and fun seekers, so go ahead and gawk. Good times)

    Hope this helps! Happy birthday!

  2. I love The Old Spaghtetti Factory.

  3. Swiss Chalet! best chicken sauce EVER.

  4. Well as a former chef a limited budget does make it a delicate situation, I would find out what your friends like and then look at those places, the Chinese buffet along with the Indian one are quite reasonable, and you can pick and choose, plus you determine the portion size.

Other than fast food or Swiss Chalet, maybe a picnic in the park with bought items only the liquor question if you do tipple is no allowed in public parks. Order in and have it at home if the cost is a question, there are some good non-chinese and pizza deliverys now.

  5. I love the Old Mill, Rocco's Plum Tomato, Artisan,Milestones, and my last favourite The Keg.

  6. There is an italian restaurant called seven numbers. One is on Eglington west of Avenue Road and one is on the Danforth.  They have authentic italian cuisine for VERY reasonable prices for what you get.

  7. tuckers market place. it is an open buffet great food

or manderin same open buffet awsome food    recommended

  8. The 2 greatest places I know of are "Silk Road" located on Danforth at Bayview.

And Mandalay, a great little restaurant located in the Hakim Optical plaza across Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough.

Just about everything in both places are $10.
