Hi there

I always go to my country for xmas time, but this year I'm staying in Dublin, I've been looking for a nice restaurant but it's amazing that in any restaurant website mentions anything about it. Irish people dont celebrate New Year? Any suggestions where to eat that day and hear in the same place the "Happy 2008!!" Also if you know any good night club after dinner, I would really appreciate. I'd like to book as soon as possible. Thanks for your time and Happy Xmas and New Year to everyone!!

  1. Gallagher's boxty house 20-21 Temple bar went there this summer absolutly brilliant food.

Fresh filled crepes filled with lots of different things.

  2. In the council flat above the corner shop....

With a cheap bottle of vino and a nice microwave meal for one (or you could make that two)

Just let me know and i'll be there :p

  3. ENJOY yourself, you will have fun in that great city

  4. I did a quick search and found someone asking a similar question here, with a fairly detailed answer: http://www.dochara.com/ask/article163.ht...

  5. The restaurant at the Clarence hotel. We went a couple of years ago - it was great.

But... I'm not sure you'll get a table so late. We went on New Years day and got a table no problem. Was about 200 Euros for the 2 of us, but we went all out - cocktails, 2 bottles of wine, 3 courses...

    Service was very good too.
