  1. Many companies provide training programmes for a qualification with the FGASA. Most are in South Africa but I've seen them for Namibia too. They vary from a month to a year and leave you qualified to take guests out on safari, work on a lodge, etc.

Even if it's not something you want to get that into, the 1 month courses are spent in the bush, and it's worth it for that alone as to do so as a tourist would cost far more.

  2. Somalia, or Zimbabwe, those places will give you a good idea of what the majority of Africa is all about.  Most places in west Africa you can get a feel of what Africa is all about too.

  3. animal kingdom, disney land, florida

  7. how about the African Lion Safari near Hamilton Ontario

  8. The Siyafunda Bush Experience ( South - Africa )  is ideal if you want to truly experience the "wild" side of Africa.  The programme is based in the 60,000 acre Makalali Game Reserve, home to Africa's "Big Five" - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. The eco-friendly tented camp is set deep in the bush overlooking a watercourse, providing a real Hemingway-style wilderness experience.
