Question:

Where to find a men's tie pattern?

I'm interested in making my own tie (I'm a girl, obviously, but I think they're cool.) I've scoured the internet, but all I can find are websites that show you how to make one, and then conveniantly require you to buy the pattern. I don't have a tie I can take apart (and all the local ties are really expensive), so my question is, where can I find an online, free men's tie pattern? Can someone give me a link or email me one? Does one even exist?

  1. This site has a free tie pattern.  Most of their patterns are free.

  2. Patterns at JoAnn fabric go on sale for as little as $1.00. Go in to a fabric store and at least read the pattern for a tie before you sew it.

Remember when cutting out a tie pattern it must be cut on the bias. Making a tie can use up a lot of fabric.
