I think they are two good high street shops that do have some beautiful dresses especially this time of year as it is graduation balls and school proms time quickly approaching. You can look online for both of these stores and get an idea of what they have got, although it is good to go and look in the shop as they do have some lines that are new in that may not be online and of course you need to try them on with accessories to get the real feel.

Of course where ever you live your nearest city will have exclusive boutiques with very pricey classy numbers.

Hi try Debenhams they have the promstyle/wedding ones that are perfect for your 21st. They have some other lovely dresses in there also. Why not get one fitted for you from abridal shop as a little treat go for one of the bridemaid dresses that are sleek and elegan no one will know where you got it from and it will fit perfectly.

Check out dress agencies - these are shops that people take their clothes to, to sell. The people get a percentage of the price the outfits sell for. Check out your thomson local.

Or you can hire a dress.

myself personally I would have a look round Primark, you can get nice tshirts for a fiver there, but, you want something nice. I know a friend of mine got her prom dress from a bridal shop. sure you will find a nice dress there, and i know some are £150. which is dear to me but i'm told thats cheap?

depends where you live? if you are in or near Rochdale, then theres Brides of Rochdale, on Drake Street, about 5 minutes away from the main shopping centre, and about 2 minutes away from Rochdale Bus Station

depends where you live, what type you like, { long short } My Daughter wanted a prom dress, we went everywhere, she could not find anything she liked, we ended up in a Bridal shop, they had some lovely dresses there, ---- she finally got one she liked.

Getting a dress for your birth day depends upon where you are.  The best that can be recommended is to go to your tailor, he/she will fit out a dress for you.  If you are in a hurry, then go to the best boutique in town
