Hi all,

We're a volunteer local tour guide exchange community: www.hieverywhere.com

The main idea of our site is:

Visitors post an announcement with their available dates on the site,

and if a volunteer local guide is available at a corresponding time,

they will book the request and schedule a meeting.

For travelers, a volunteer guide means not only a local perspective but also assistance when traveling;

For local guides, touring with foreigners let you rediscover your home towns and make new friends.

Now we have members request volunteer local guides in Venice, Italy.

We sincerely hope you can help us to show the beauty of Venice, thanks a lot.

  1. hello, I'm not sure I properly understand how this work. Also, I'm not sure you'll find a volunteer guide in Venice. In Venice guides ALWAYS work with foreigners and they're so constantly fully booked (but also over taxed) that they will need to be paid, in most cases, if not all. I suggest travellers who need to buy tours for cheap, to apply for group tours that are sold on site at local agencies.

  2. Hmm, sounds like a good idea.  Good luck with that.
