yes. in malad east near station there janta hotel they provide room near be 500 or some also there restraint is good or in south mumbai near nanachowk grant rood is a good hotel but may be 800/ or so near be some chip hotel's there but his reputation is not good.

try near by to any of the railway stations...there u generally find cheap lodges...hardly anybody will charge u more than 500 bucks....
