Where to find chickens?

Hi. My Dad lives in the New England side of the U.S. (Massachusetts's, New York, Maine, etc.) and he lives like a while away from me cause he doesn't even live in the same state as me, and he needs help with something. He is planning on raising and selling eggs and baby chickens, but he can't find a good place to buy them. He is looking for a Buff Orpington rooster or a New Jersey Giant rooster. He is trying to get rid of his two rhode island red roosters because he wants to get a rooster that will go with his Buff Orpington hens. Does anyone know where to find some good chickens for sale AT A LOW PRICE(Maximum $5.00) or is anyone selling chickens in the New England area? He is hoping to find a place to trade his two roosters for a different rooster. thanks!

you can get chicks at your local feed&seed,check out your pet stores, or better yet, take a drive out in the country. and find a farm, the farmer could have the answer you are looking for. luck to you
