I like to get back into weight traning after beingoff for several years. I keep trying these energy products from GNC and other places. None of them work. Does anybody have any knowledge as to where I can find a product that really works in the kansas city metro area. I'm not looking for steroids. Just something not phoney.

  1. If you are looking for an energy drink, I like Glaceau VitaminEnergy.  It's by the same people that make the vitamin waters.  Just be careful because each can has 2 servings, so it's A LOT of caffeine.

If you are looking for an energy bar, I like Clif bars.  There tons of different flavors so you're bound to find one that you like.

  2. I recomend Rhodiola 110.  It's an all natural energy supplement that works wonders.  It's actually designed for athletes and people that work out on a regular basis because it gives you energy but it also helps your muscles recover much quicker.  It's completely guarenteed to work or they will give you all of your money back which I think is pretty cool.  It's actually from Nutrilite, the worlds number one selling vitamin and supplement company.  You won't find their products in stores but you can get it at http://adrennan.qhealthzone.com/products... Good luck with your training and hopefully this was helpful :)

  3. What kind of energy products are you looking for. Energy Drinks, energy bars, creatine squeezes, pills? GNC has decent products but there are much better ones available that you can't get in stores.

Keep in mind the basics do help too. Plenty of water and good quality nutritional multi vitamin/mineral supplements will both increase energy levels naturally. Adding a good quality multi B complex supplement and ginseng with ginko biloba increase energy too. As with all supplements you get what you pay for. Most items in stores really are not worth the money.

Anything with caffeine, like an energy drink, must be offset with extra water. Though caffeine is a stimulant it also dehydrates. When dehydrated we become tired. So by offsetting it with extra water we feel more stimulated by the caffeine then when we don't.

Since this is in the non alcoholic drink section I am guessing you want energy drinks. Only a few really work well. Those are the healthy ones with a ton of B vitamins. XS Energy is the best tasting, has the largest variety, has 100% guarantee, and is the 2nd largest selling behind Red Bull.
