  1. Maybe there is no such thing.  Maybe that engine just doesn't go any faster.(because don't you think the makers are trying to make the most out of their engines because of the competition and probably going faster WILL blow it up)

Yes there is a rev limiter on the vehicle.  The ZX50 is capable of over 50mph in nearly stock form.  With the rev limiter removed the engine will run at it's designed rpm.  The manufacturer designed the motor to actually go 45mph and rev around 9000rpm.  They then restrict it to 30mph at the factory to comply with state laws stating any vehicle going over 30mph is legally a motorcycle.  The rev limiter is in the CDI ignition box, this is located under the right hand side (when seated) plastic up near the base of the seat.  It's a black box with a bunch of wires going into a harness.  What you want to do is cut the light green wire and splice it into the dark green wire.  This will get you up to 37mph.  I suggest doing the variator restriction as well.
