Where to find tire size?

Where on the tire is the tire size? or what should i look for, like how does it look on the tire..

Note: car is a 99 Ford Escort, winter tires and is a Europe car.. if that makes sense... or any difference...

  1. they are on the sidewalls of the tire.  it will say something like 185r75-15

    it is also on the sticker located in the driver's door jamb.

    if this is too complicated, take it to a tire shop.  they will write it down for you.


  2. The best bet is to look at the manual,cause just because the side wall reads the size doesn't mean nothing.They may not,well more then likely they're not original,so either the owners manual,or call the dealer this way you know exactly what ones to buy.

  3. there should be a plate on the d/s door jamb if not check the glove box for a sticker with the tire sizes. it should look like 185/95/r13 also you can look on the sidewall of the tire

  4. the size is on the side of the tire eg: 205(width of tire) 60(profile) 14 (diameter) these numbers designate the size of your tire....if unsure ask your mechanic or go to a tire shop
